KevoRapid provides immediate pricing and lead time information for your personalized components. You have two options to obtain a quote and receive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback from our sales team:

1. Simply upload one or more 3D CAD files on our “Get a Quote” page.

2.Alternatively, you can directly send one or more 3D CAD files to info@kevorapid.com.

3.In the majority of instances, we will respond to your Request for Quotation (RFQ) within 24 business hours. If there is any delay in providing the quote, we will promptly inform you.

KevoRapid does not impose any minimum order quantity requirements. Our services are designed to accommodate your needs, whether you require one-off prototypes or are planning for mid- and high-volume production.

A dedicated technical sales manager and a lead project engineer are assigned to each project, ensuring continuous support from the initiation of your project until the delivery of your components.

KevoRapid accepts payment in two ways:
Bank to bank wire transfer. KevoRapid has accounts in Hong Kong and ShenZhen, China.
KevoRapid can send you a PayPal invoice and you can use your PayPal account or credit card to pay.

There is no single answer to this question but a few rules apply. For customers in USA, Prototypes to be used exclusively for development, testing, product evaluation, or quality control purposes, allow for a MFN Duty Rate of duty-free import into USA(US HTS Number: 9817.85.01.). Import duties vary widely between countries, and are dependent on the type of good being imported. Most countries in the world conform to the international Harmonized System (HS) codes that categorize virtually all commercial trade goods.

For quoting KevoRapid prefer 3D CAD file in format in STEP, IGES, X_T or STL.
2D CAD drawings with reference dimensions in format DWG and PDF.
All of the KevoRapid processes are dependent on good 3D CAD solid models.

KevoRapid rely on our reputation of working with hundreds of thousands of unique designs over many years, we always keeps customer information confidential and have a strict policy within our factory. If needed, we can sign an NDA with customers who require this documentation.

Our standard term is Ex Works (EXW) for rapid prototyping and regular production orders. This means the customer is responsible for shipping, customs clearance and all other associated fees once the goods have left our premises. We also offer terms of Delivery At Place(DAP) by DHL Express air freight, customers are responsible for import duties and fees associated with international shipping. Customers also have the option to use their own shipping accounts (e.g. DHL,FedEx or UPS) during checkout if applicable.

General Manufacturing & QA

Kevo’s in house prototype finishing is capable of providing the best post-finish including assembling & form fitting, fastening & metal inserting, sanding & polishing, blasting & brushing, painting & printing. We also offer a wide array of specialty surface treatments, including laser etching, anodizing, electroplating, chroming, chemical finishing, powder coating, etc. To provide a fast emulated prototype as same as the final product to client, we support one-stop surface finishing operations for client’s convenience.

We do not provide design services, so you will have to create a CAD file. You are responsible for submitting 2D and 3D CAD drawings, and we can then provide a Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review upon receiving your order.

A wide range of engineering plastics and metal materials can undergo processing to ensure consistent production of prototype parts as well as mass production parts. Moreover, these processes offer excellent dimensional stability, precise machining accuracy, and high repetition accuracy. When compared to 3D printing parts, CNC machined parts exhibit superior levels of accuracy, strength, surface finish, and material options.

With our state-of-the-art HASS machines imported from the United States, we have equipped ourselves with the capability to handle your customized parts efficiently. Our CNC milling machines, ranging from 3-axis to 5-axis, provide us with the flexibility to handle both simple and highly complex parts.

There is no universally applicable set of tolerances for all processes and materials. The final tolerances of your part will depend on various factors such as part size, design geometry, materials, and surface finish.
At KevoRapid, we adhere to ISO 2768 (medium) tolerance for machined plastic and ISO 2768 (fine) tolerance for machined metals. Typically, our CNC machining can achieve tolerances ranging from ±0.005″ (±0.125mm) to ±0.002″ (±0.05mm).

Vacuum casting can be used to closely simulate final injection molded parts or finished products,it’s good option for Low Volume Manufacturing/Short Production Runs. Generally, it outputs 12-15 pieces before degradation.

Urethane resins are polymers with certain properties are similar to engineering production plastics, such as ABS, PMMA, PC, PP, PA, and so on. Casting parts can be varied from transparent, translucent to colored, and from soft rubber to hard plastic.

Indeed, urethane parts can be utilized as final products for end users. While this method is commonly employed for prototyping purposes, customers often leverage it as a bridge tooling process to introduce their products to the market while production tooling is being developed. In the case of highly specialized products like medical devices, this process is employed for production due to its low initial cost, which is appealing for short production runs. The process offers production-quality appearance, and the functionality-focused urethanes developed specifically for this purpose make it an excellent choice for end use.

Rapid Tooling, also known as rapid injection molding, is an effective method for addressing the initial trial production phase before mass production. The lifespan of rapid molds typically ranges from several thousands of shots, depending on the chosen mold material (such as aluminum or soft steel) and part structure. This makes it particularly well-suited for small series or bridge production needs.

We provide OQC reports upon request. If necessary, we can generate additional documentation such as material certificates, inspection reports, certificates of conformance, and more. However, we kindly request that you specify this information upfront when placing your order, as obtaining something like a material certificate becomes challenging after the fact.

KevoRapid adopts a proactive strategy in addressing customer quality concerns right from the initial communication stage. We offer economical and rationalized guidance on aspects like designs, materials, production processes, and manufacturability.
Upon confirmation of your order, we conduct a comprehensive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review to identify any potential issues that could impact the quality of your parts. Our engineers will promptly communicate these concerns to you.
To ensure transparency and collaboration, we have the capability to share real-time inspection data with you. This enables us to work together in resolving any quality issues that may arise during production. All incoming materials will meet the specifications outlined in your design. Additionally, we provide final inspection reports before shipment.

Our Statistical Sampling Plan is based on MIL-STD-105E with Zero rejects .
